We are the Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland, a Charity based in Scotland, which seeks to carry on with charitable traditions of the original Knights Templar. Founded on the 13th of March 2021, Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland has been serving our communities for over 3 years now. Our organisation was established to address the growing need for assistance for those facing hunger, financial difficulties, mental health and wellbeing, cost of living, fuel poverty or social challenges. Our mission is to improve the lives of those in need by providing essential services and support to our communities. We believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing and basic hygiene products and more. At Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland, we envision a world where every person has access to the resources, they need to live a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. We strive to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. We offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our communities. Our organisation is built on a foundation of compassion, integrity, and accountability. We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, and we are committed to using our resources in the most effective and efficient way possible. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in our communities. We work tirelessly to ensure that our services are meeting the needs of those we serve to help and support. Our goal is to re-empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient and thrive. To help them back onto their feet and back into society.
Our charity is open to anyone who shares in our passion for helping others. We are an charity without discrimination to age, religion, belief or faith, disabilities, gender, race (including colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origin) sex and sexual orientation.
If you share our vision for helping our communities, you will be welcomed with open arms.
The Founders of KTGC Scotland had a shared vision of what they wanted to do to help others within our Communities. With them being Veterans and having their own disabilities and mental health issues they still strived to make a difference. They set their sights to help and support our communities with issues such as poverty, homelessness and isolation as well assisting our Veterans, senior citizens, families and anyone in need of assistance. They seen there was a great gap in the help available and they wanted to make a difference to the quality of life for the people we strive to help. They knew they might not be able to help everyone, but at least they can make a difference in the life’s of the people they do. With months of thought, several meetings and hours of research they put words into action and began to make a real difference. To that end at on the 13th of March 2021, the Knights Templar Goodwill Charity of Scotland was born. The charity was set up by 3 ex-serviceman of our Armed Forces. They had served Queen and Country without question. We were taught Loyalty, Love & Discipline and through their actions they earned Respect, Trust & Honour. They respected the ethos, vows, ethics of do no wrong, protect the vulnerable, and principles of the original order of the Knights Templar. With this they wanted to bring this back into service but modernise it. One of their oaths is a simple but important one,
“Never look down on anyone, unless it is to help them up”.

We are a modern day Knights Templar Charity, here to help those in need here in Scotland.
We do not in any way shape or form claim to be a direct lineage to the original Knights Templars, but we do seek their positive attributes in our daily lives today.
